peermusic is an independent music publisher that represents a dynamic and diverse roster of songwriters, writer/artists, and writer/producers. We pride ourselves on our innovative approach and commitment to the growth and development of our roster of writers who work in all genres, including Pop, Indie, Latin, Urban, and Country, among others. As we continue to expand the online presence of our writers, we have created a 6-month paid internship to run social media campaigns for a few of our artists. This is an artist-focused internship and will not be focused on the social media efforts of the corporate brand. If you're passionate about social media and eager to kick-start your career in digital marketing, we'd love to hear from you! This role could be extended into a longer-term assignment or a permanent role.Job Description & Responsibilities:Content Creation & Campaign Management:Develop engaging and creative artist-driven campaigns focused on the development of specific artist projects for use on various social media platforms, including, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.

These campaigns will need to be tailor-made for each project to best represent their genre and communication style. The campaigns' goals will be to maintain and increase engagement from their current fan base, promote new releases, special projects, live shows, etc. as well as increase their reach into new audiences while driving traffic to the DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Etc.). This internship will report directly to Senior A&R staff.Campaign & Marketing Management:Plan and execute campaigns with the oversight of the appropriate A&R executive. Track key metrics and performance indicators to measure the success of social media efforts and generate regular reports to share insights and recommendations with the team.Community Engagement:Foster meaningful interactions with the artists' online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries (both with and without the input of the artist) in a timely and professional manner.Qualifications:Deep knowledge of all social media platforms, digital marketing tools and best practices required.Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field preferred. A certificate in Social Media Marketing is a plus.Knowledge of graphic design and video editing software.Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual content creation.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Passion for music and artist development is a plus.English/Spanish speaker is preferred, but not a requirement.How to Apply:Please submit your resume, along with a cover letter highlighting your relevant education/experience and why you're interested in joining our team, to internships@
