You will use your experience to creatively engage our Team, the Community, and the industry. You will provide creative services to our Proposal/Business Development Support Team and the larger Wohlsen Team.

How You’ll Contribute :

Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining corporate materials/collateral to produce visually appealing graphic materials and content.Participate in developing a strategy for and, subsequently, creating corporate presentations (i.e., annual meeting, learning & development, etc.), which include a great deal of graphics, photography, and video.Develop external communications collateral, including advertisements (generic and custom), brochures, handouts, signage, stationery, etc.Provide graphic and photography support for regional industry association award competitions.Responsible for supporting internal company branding and promotion efforts. Including design/layout of the newsletter, digital signage, office/project signage, recruiting materials, etc.Monitor sources of industry and target market-related information.Gather research data on competitors; past, current, and prospective markets; and relevant corporate experience.Monitor online and print sources, including newspapers, business journals, social media, industry publications, and other online content.Prepare and issue press releases and thought leadership articles.Ensure compliance with copyright laws and photography usage rights.Coordinate special events and video/photography of eventsMaintain and grow relationships with vendors, delegate, and coordinate work for marketing projects.Maintain company registrations, professional staff licensure list, and industry/community involvement by Team Members.Maintain libraries of digital corporate marketing assetsCoordinate and prepare award submissions for industry recognitionCoordinate and participate in industry trade shows

Qualifications

Four-year college degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, communications, or related fields.Five years of related technical sales & marketing support experience, demonstrating an understanding of marketing, business development, and branding with a preference for working knowledge of those areas in the A/E/C industry.Advanced to expert experience in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Planner, and Teams), Canva, and other creative software tools.Have excellent writing, oral communication, editing, and proofreading skills.Experience with graphic design and page layout required and content writing.Motivated and proactive self-starter who can make independent decisions and work without supervision.Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to balance short-term deadlines against long-term goals.Active in professional associations and community/volunteer service.

Physical RequirementsOn a normal day, this position requires little to no standing or walking. In a normal day, the employee must be able to sit for 7+ hours.

In a normal day, the employee must be able to drive 1-4 hours. Employee must be able to lift/carry up to 10 lbs. maximum; occasionally carry small objects.

In this position, employee occasionally (0-33%) must be able to bend at waist, squat the knees, climb (including ladders), reach above shoulders, kneel, crawl, use feet (foot controls), and/or work at heights above 6 feet.
