Dynamic media and training company is seeking a talented and multi-dimensional individual for a short-term (contract), 2-month role focused on creating instructional materials for end users who will be training on a new software program. The role will involve creating materials, including video tutorials, that demonstrate the functionality of the program, visual user guides with defined steps, and functional job aids.The ideal candidate will be proficient in using screen casting and screen capturing tools such as Camtasia, Snagit, or Adobe After Effects, to create high-quality materials. This role is crucial for assisting our content development team in developing comprehensive instructional materials in a short amount of time. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for working with the content development team to document functional content for engaging user guides utilizing Microsoft Word. This position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our team's success by enhancing our educational materials with your expertise in video production and content documentation.RequirementsYou are :Available during regular daily work hours.Highly attentive to detail.Highly productive and work efficiently to make sure team meets deadlines.Comfortable collaborating on projects with team members and subject matter experts.Open to feedback and able to implement changes as needed in a timely manner.Meet with team members (in-office or remotely) when required.Willing to work towards problem solving individually and as a team member to find solutions.Enthusiastic about teamwork and collaboration.Efficient with time management.What you will do:Capture screenshots of a training solution.Write step by step instructions for how-to documents.Follow a predetermined set of multimedia design expectations.Collaborate with a team member to receive feedback make revisions.Utilizing Microsoft Word.Capturing screencasts of specific functionality within a training solution.Participate in weekly and or daily check in meetings.Meet predetermined deadlines.Create step by step scripts for screen captures.Edit screen captures combining narration and visual assets.Qualifications:Experience using Windows 10 operating system and software.Proficient with design tools such as Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially advanced formatting and managing long documents in Word and creating visual designs for PPT presentations.Proficient in using video production software such as Adobe Premiere and Camtasia.Be able to obtain an FBI Criminal Justice Information System clearance and maintain clearance for project duration.Other Desired Qualifications:Associates/Bachelor’s degree, or certification in Art/Design or equivalent work experience in a design, communications capacity.Experience working with software developers and data analysts.Experience with government projects.Experience with CRM solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM.BenefitsThis would be a minimum of a 2 month contract (1099) position with the possibility of an extension if the project timeline is extended by the client.
