Founded in 2002, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Director, Brand & Creative Services position (remote).

The Director of Brand & Creative Services will be responsible for:Leading the development and execution of an integrated brand strategy that supports fundraising and engagement campaigns.Overseeing creation of content for use on the organization’s website, internal newsletters, story bank, and other channels.Managing photography and videography projects to ensure high-quality visual content for various platforms and campaigns.Managing the creation, production, and distribution of the print and digital Annual Report.

The Director will manage a team of 3-5 marketing professionals, including designers, copywriters, as well as vendors, to support external organizational and donor content needs. The Director will coordinate with colleagues to create compelling brand visuals and communications, develop a consistent brand identity across all channels, and manage project deadlines and status communications.

Desired candidates will have:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism, public relations, or a related field desired.10+ years of relevant experience desired.Expertise in developing and managing brand and creative design, including vendor and contract support.3-4 years of experience leading teams and overseeing vendors/contractors.Experience managing vendors for video production and photography, including understanding editing techniques.Strong background in brand and content management.Knowledge of nonprofit industry best practices.Excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong writing/editing abilities.Effective presentation skillsValid Driver’s LicenseCriminal background checkMVR – Motor Vehicle Report (annual)Canva proficiency a plusAdobe Suite SoftwareMicrosoft Suite – especially designing and building PowerPoint presentationExperience with project management toolsPrimary job duties include:

Lead Integrated Brand Strategy : Work with the VP Marketing to lead the development and execution of an integrated brand strategy that supports fundraising and engagement campaigns.Content and Creative Production:

Develop and manage the production of the Annual Report, video production, various campaigns, and management of the OH Story Bank. Ensure all content and creative elements of marketing, cause marketing, and donor requests are delivered with accuracy and timeliness.Team and Vendor Management:

Supervise the creative team of staff and contractors, manage key vendor relationships, and foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Marketing Collateral and Promotions:

Develop, coordinate, and implement enterprise-wide marketing collateral and promotions to build OH brand awareness.Other Duties as Assigned:

Fulfill other responsibilities as required.

Other Details:

General office and sedentary. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events as needed. May be required to work after hours to include weekends and holidays.
