As the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, you will manage a high-performing team of product marketers supporting Experian’s B2B financial products and services. You will oversee product messaging and content creation, oversee go-to-market and launch strategies and activities including all cross-functional training, and enablement. You will be a strategic business partner for product, sales, and integrated marketing teams. You will be highly influential in representing the voice of the market by understanding customer problems, the competitive landscape and summarizing that into value-based positioning to support the goals of Experian Financial Services and Data.

You must have a commanding understanding of the financial services customer, the financial services technology landscapes and credit marketing, with direct experience in product marketing, strategy, strategic business development or strategic sales.

Product Marketing will report to the Chief Marketing Officer, SVP Product Marketing of Experian Financial and Marketing Services.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Gain expertise in the product portfolio to explain product messaging, value propositions and functionality that resonates with targeted market segments and across channels

Guide the creation and maintenance of a library of both internal and external product content (e.g., pitch decks, case studies, videos, product sheets, whitepapers)

Explain the core value propositions, functionality, and benefits of products to audiences of varied levels

Coordinate with internal marketing functions, external agencies, and important partners in sales, product, and communications to mobilize the execution of marketing programs with speed and efficiency

Deliver presentations and expertise to internal and external audiences (analysts, customers, third parties)

Develop an understanding of the market, buyer personas and the competitive landscape

Support ongoing win/loss analysis and evolve content, messaging, materials, and go-to-market

Lead, motivate and manage a team of product marketers

Foster team talent through skills building, performance coaching and career pathing

Establish operational standards and own departmental goals, guiding the team’s activities including resource management and prioritization

10+ years in product marketing, solutions marketing, strategy or related field

6+ years directly managing a team

Experience in B2B SaaS marketing within the FinTech, or financial services sectors

Experience with technical or complex products as a trusted partner to both product and sales teams

Experience building quality relationships with colleagues, and comfort operating at all levels of the business, questioning the status quo to lead improvements and change, and driving dependences across teams to meet our goals

Experience managing large projects involving multiple teams
