This is a highly visible role within the Neuromuscular Therapeutic Area, and the individual will work in close partnership with Medical Directors, MSL Directors, MSLs, and Medical Training to develop strategically-aligned Medical Affairs content for use across a range of external and internal stakeholders.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures all Medical materials are relevant, scientifically accurate, and consistent with cited appropriate scientific literature, internal scientific information, and company values and standardsHelps identify digital innovation to support content development, access, and delivery including enhanced scientific engagement via remote channelsEnsure all appropriate stakeholders are involved in the development, review, and approval of materials.Lead development of scientifically accurate, fair balanced slide decks for field medical teams based on strategic direction and field team needs, while utilizing the expertise of other argenx functionsResponsible for the localization of materials for the US affiliate while ensuring the information is aligned with local labelingManages materials through the US medical, legal, and regulatory review processEnsure the highest degree of quality and medical accuracy for all outputs developedComplete all work in accordance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and argenx policiesExhibits broad knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, product labeling, and regulatory guidanceServes as medical affairs liaison to cross-functional groups for the incorporation of current medical/scientific information into department documents and processesSKILLS AND COMPETENCIESAble to effectively network and partner with internal and external stakeholders and embrace cross-functional workingStrong operational capabilities, an eye for detail, and commitment to advance and adhere to processesDemonstrated project management experienceUnderstand and demonstrate the importance of providing superior customer service to all clients to support the businessExcellent communication skills: verbal, written, and when giving presentationsAble to thrive as part of a team and when working independentlyProven track record of delivering results that meet or exceed targeted objectivesDetailed understanding of industry regulations and practices relating to medical affairsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONSAdvanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in a scientific discipline3+ years industry experience, working within Medical Affairs preferredExperience managing vendors for content creationExperience in componentized content creation is preferredExperience in content management systems similar to Veeva Vault is preferredSignificant experience in pharmaceutical or biomedical writing and communications, including group facilitation and presentation to diverse audiencesJoin us as we transform immunology and deliver medicines that help autoimmune patients get their lives back. argenx is preparing for multi-dimensional expansion to reach more patients through a rich pipeline of differentiated assets, led by VYVGART, our first-in-class neonatal Fc receptor blocker approved for the treatment of gMG, and with the potential to treat patients across dozens of severe autoimmune diseases.We are building a new kind of biotech company, one that maintains its roots as a science-based start-up and pushes our commitment to innovate across all corners of our business.
