Job Summary

The Executive Director of US Sales Marketing will create, oversee, and implement US Marketing’s projects, product launch strategies, promotional campaigns, event communication plans, brand positioning, and publications that are distributed within all U.S. members through both websites and emails. This position will also help develop concepts, strategies, and campaigns that enhance U.S initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in marketing, working knowledge of Copy, Creative, Brand, Market Analysis, and Project Management. The Executive Director must think and react quickly to market trends, and changes. They will set priorities, shift priorities, adapt to changes, and exercise good judgment. Quick turnaround and tenacity are important, along with the ability to problem solve and partner with other departments. The individual is creative, well organized, detailed, and committed to producing solutions that reinforce, and strengthen the brand.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Oversee US Marketing, programs, brand, launches, and other corporate-related needs; this includes providing strategic and tactical support and focusing on ways to support the market on their sales strategies.Work closely with both the U.S. and Latin America (LATAM) marketing and sales teams to implement the best practices for the US Latino market.Develop relationships with key members in US and Global teams to establish best practices and guidelines for our market to adhere to; be an expert to solve challenges and identify new opportunities for growth.Ensure consistent, ongoing communication between teams.Support global product promotion efforts by driving the implementation of the market’s promotion strategy, and interfacing with cross functional teams.Protect and promote the Young Living brand by ensuring that tone, messaging, look and feel, and other brand attributes are consistent globally and follow established corporate style guides.Support other international department projects and initiatives as needed.Assist in the writing and proof reading of all content including, but not limited to: Labels, Catalogs and Communications.Assist in developing and following a comprehensive marketing strategy that exemplifies the execution of corporate marketing/ branding strategy.Create and execute project work processes and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Oversee the day-to-day schedule of marketing projects.Work with the Corporate MarCom team to ensure goals and schedules are aligned.Help with marketing resource team functions and day-to-day tasks.Complete other tasks as assigned by General Manager.

Supervisory Responsibility

Manage and oversee all the US Marketing Department, this includes, Creative, Product Management, Communications, Events, and Campaigns.

Qualifications

Must have Marketing, Creative, Communication experience or equivalent industry experience.Proven ability to maintain brand consistency within visual and written collateral.Passion for problem solving, consensus-building and getting great work out the door on time and on budget.Excellent attention to detailThe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced (sometimes chaotic) environment.Team player and positive attitudeExcellent communicator – speaks and writes clearly and to the point in both Spanish and EnglishComputer Skills: Demonstrate expertise with Microsoft products and other applicable software or applications.Pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others.Skilled in management and leadership of a teamSkilled in tracking and reporting metrics for communications and campaignsSkilled in management and leadership of a teamSkilled in tracking and reporting metrics for communications and campaignsAdvanced skilled in written communicationAdvanced skills to balance multiple communications, campaigns, and channels while also overseeing strategies produced by the team.

Education And Experience

Bachelors’ degree, or equivalent years of professional experience preferred.5 years of direct selling industry experience strongly desired.
