Scholarship Position Description

All scholarships are determined by position, time commitment, responsibility, and financial budget determined in April. Time Commitment: 15-20 hours a week

Responsibilities

Manages team of audio and video producers along with K-UTE Director.

Ensures that audio and video meets standards set by the leadership team.

Regularly responds to work messages via Teams and Gmail.

Attends mandatory meetings.

Regularly creates audio and video content.

Communicates all needs and concerns with the K-UTE Director.

Expectations & Duties

Holds and leads audio/video meetings once a week.

Trains all members on their respective platforms, including Captivate, Audition, and any other audio/video editing platforms necessary.

Manages the K-UTE YouTube account with all video content.

Oversees all podcast production.

Supports team members with equipment needs.

Provides critical and constructive feedback to all audio and video contributors.

Qualifications

Understanding and working knowledge of necessary software, tools, and equipment used in audio and video production.

Previous work and/or education and training in audio and video production. Preference given to applicants with prior experience in KUTE or Student Media.

Demonstrated leadership and/or previous management experience preferred.

Must be enrolled student progressing satisfactorily towards a degree.
