Manage and mentor a team of full-stack developers, in a fast-paced, quick-to-market environmentSet the strategy, build a roadmap, create measurable goals, and lead your team to deliverCollaborate with Product, Operation, Data Science and Engineering teams, and executive stakeholdersEvaluate the technical trade-offs of major decisions and be a strong technical mentorHire, grow and retain high-performing team membersKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Background with building high availability and mission-critical systemsExperience with leading an engineering teamAbility leading and executing large, complex technical initiativesMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience8+ years of experience working in software engineering2+ years of experience managing a teamExperience with distributed systems and web developmentPreferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with the Content Ingestion, Indexing, Deliver or Trust & Safety spacesTrack record of delivery in rapidly changing, highly collaborative, multi-stakeholder environmentsExperience with operating business critical systems/productsAt Snap, we believe that having a team of diverse backgrounds and voices working together will enable us to create innovative products that improve the way people live and communicate. These pay zones may be modified in the future.Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $222,000-$333,000 annually.Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $211,000-$316,000 annually.Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $189,000-$283,000 annually.This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
