The mission of the UI team is to develop tools, workflows, and runtime features that empower in-game UI creators to accomplish their vision.We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about people, planning, collaboration, and delivering at quality to help us build the best UI technology possible.What you will do:Report to the existing UI Sr. Engineering Manager and work with the UI leadership team helping us to empower and grow the team, prioritize work, remove barriers, and set team goalsHire, onboard, and coach team members with emphasis on career growth and recognitionOversee team deliveries, including managing risks, dependencies, and critical paths.Identify the resource requirements to meet goals and guide team planningHelp create a learning culture to grow the team's ability to sustainably achieve the team's goalsWork with leadership to manage development work, monitor workload, and communicate progress against commitmentsImprove operational effectiveness of team effort by assessing current practices, incorporating new strategies, and increasing predictability.Collaborate across a diverse group of project leaders and development partners.Who you are:You have project management and team leadership experience.You have experience using Agile project management methodology.You excel in a dynamic and collaborative setting.You understand diversity empowers teams and you foster an inclusive environment where all opinions are heard and encourage creativityYou are experienced in managing high-performing software development teams.You have used and promote CI/CD pipelines and proper testing processes
