NO LATER THAN AUG 16th ***The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation seeks a qualified and creative Graphic Designer candidate.The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation (HMHF) is a 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds from individuals, corporations, private foundations, and public sources to support the mission of the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and other organizations committed to supporting educators, researchers, and clinicians to shine a light on mental health and bring dignity and quality care to the children, adolescents, and adults and families we serve every day.Reporting to the AVP, Operations, this role will be crucial in developing visually compelling materials that effectively communicate our mission and impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to create engaging designs across various media, with a passion for using their skills to support mental health advocacy.Responsibilities:Create visually appealing and on-brand designs for digital and print materials, including social media graphics, infographics, brochures, annual reports, and presentations.Develop and maintain consistent visual branding across all HMHF communications and marketing materials.Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that align with HMHF's goals and mission.Design engaging website graphics and user interface elements to enhance user experience and support digital marketing efforts.Produce high-quality print materials, ensuring color accuracy and print-readiness.Create compelling data visualizations to effectively communicate complex information related to mental health research and initiatives.Design promotional materials for events, fundraising campaigns, and community outreach programs.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements.Stay current with design trends and best practices, particularly in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors.Collaborate with external vendors, such as printers and photographers, to ensure high-quality production of materials.Maintain an organized digital asset library for easy access to graphics, photos, and other design elements.Provide design guidance and support to other team members as needed.Contribute creative ideas to enhance HMHF's visual storytelling and brand identity.Adapt designs for various platforms and media, ensuring consistency across digital and print materials.Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for campaigns and visual content.Work in a teams environment, supporting the interests of many diverse stakeholders.Collaboration and team participation in any and all marketing and communications team activities, including but not limited to: writing, editing, research, creative, leadership, communications, event planning, event execution, fundraising, collaboration, brand representationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related fieldThree or more years of professional graphic design experience; five or more years preferredProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design softwareStrong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills across various mediaExperience in designing for both print and digital platformsKnowledge of current design trends and best practices in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designExcellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Experience in philanthropy and/or healthcare design is a plusPassion for mental health advocacy and commitment to advancing HMHF's missionCommentsWork Environment and Level of Frequency typically requiredIn-person, open office environment, frequent use of Zoom/MS Teams.Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be requiredNearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking.Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.HMHF is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in our workforce.
