About the Role
You'll become a member of the Highspot Design Studio team. The Product Design function at Highspot is an integral part of the company, and how we approach developing customer solutions. Working cross-functionally, you'll be involved in every aspect of the product development lifecycle, from discovery to post-release feedback collection. You should have a passion for design thinking, systems design, an eye for quality and consistency and a knack for reducing the complex to the bare essentials. You are also an effective diplomat with strong communication and organization skills.
What You'll DoWork closely with UX research to identify and investigate user problems and/or opportunitiesWork closely with engineering and product management to refine features and support the shared vision and execution of product plansDefine methodology and approach to based on the needs of the project (user flows, IA maps, primary/secondary research)Collaborate with your counterparts to identify and prioritize usage scenarios through customer research and competitive analysisCreate high-fidelity design comps and prototypes for testing and handoffYour Background
Creative problem solvingExpert knowledge of user-centered design principlesStrong understanding of design thinking methodologiesSystematic organization and design skillsUnderstanding of rapid prototyping approaches (Figma, HTML 5, InVision)Ability to deliver strong work on tight schedulesOutstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsExcellent collaborative skillsStrong user empathy
Base salary range: $116,000 - $173,000. Employees are eligible to receive stock options and may also receive other forms of compensation.
The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
