Position Summary:The Jr. Proposal Writer will be responsible for supporting the Proposal Manager in writing proposals and contributing to the company’s proposal process in response to U.S. Government Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The Jr. Proposal Writer will assist in analyzing requirements, developing proposal outlines, and writing proposal sections. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key to success in this role.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist the Proposal Manager in analyzing solicitations and identifying proposal requirements.Contribute to the development of proposal outlines and response strategies.Write proposal sections based on provided information and templates.Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and incorporate technical information into proposals.Review and edit proposal sections for clarity, grammar, and adherence to requirements.Assist in managing proposal documents and version control.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all proposal deadlines are met.Support the Proposal Manager in other proposal-related tasks as needed.RequirementsExperience, Education, Certifications:· Bachelor's degree in a related field.· 1-2 years of experience in proposal writing or a similar role.Competencies:· Strong written and verbal communication skills.· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.Computer Skills:· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.· Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint is a plus.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
