We work together to handle a large volume of work with grace-constantly ideating new ways to evolve the brand and tell the client's story.ROLE OVERVIEWWe're looking for a storyteller, across copy and design and projects-large and small. As ACD, you won't just oversee the work, you'll ideate, create and execute, from conception to completion. You'll have the trust and freedom to make your own informed decisions and pitch our CD with new ideas and ways in.Your portfolio should show the range of your ACD capabilities: how you partner, go solo and bring new ideas to the table. What your management style looks like. Our team is eager to learn and we're looking for someone who can teach, inspire and lead by example.A strong typography sensibility is critical.Schedule: Hybrid - In office three days per week and remote two days a weekLocation: New York, NY - Hybrid - Global Headquarters of Dow Jones (1211 Avenue of the Americas) with a minimum of 3 days a week on siteReports to: Creative DirectorSalary Range: $115 to $130k a yearRESPONSIBILITIESDay to day, the ACD Art will work with the Creative Director to oversee art direction and design across social, email, web, video and print campaigns and content development. The ACD will be responsible for leading teams of Art Directors, Designers and Copywriters to develop innovative and elegant digital advertising and marketing materials.Elevate the level of creative and design execution.Be the brand governance and reviewer of all work. Ensure every project "gets its love," no matter how small.Ensure that creative and design considerations are addressed before they are sent for review with the client. QA/QC all work against feedback.Run creative brainstorms and creative client-working sessions.Execute projects from beginning to end.Apply critical and conceptual thinking to brand and marketing strategies.Present to client stakeholders and agency management.Provide regular support and mentorship to the creative team to ensure flawless delivery of the creative product on an ongoing basis.Work closely with Strategy, Account and Project Management teams to interpret and guide client directives towards effective creative projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:8-10 years of agency experience with a minimum 4 years of progressive creative and management experience in an agency or related marketing environmentFlexible, communicative professional with a great eye and strong attention to detailProven ability to provide clear creative direction for art and copy and provide timely and meaningful feedbackExcellent presentation and communication skills at all levels of both internal and client organizationsAbility to prioritize work and resources across engagementsStrive to improve creative processes and deliver assets on agreed upon timelinesExcitement about using technology to drive efficiencies on a team; ability to utilize and suggest new software applications
