Company DescriptionFast paced Private Label and Promotional Accessories company is adding to our design team. We are seeking a creative and talented Junior Graphic Designer. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about graphic design to grow their skills in a dynamic work environment.DescriptionThis is a full-time, in office position for a Norwalk, CT, based company.Duties- Work with the Art Department to create product virtuals and presentations and other projects as needed- Photograph products and create marketing material- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for designing and editing purposes- Participate in market research to develop design conceptsRequired Skills include- Proven experience as Graphic Designer or related position- Knowledge of Adobe creative software - Heavy on Photoshop and IllustratorPhotoshop: create realistic product renderings; Manipulate photos to create new designs; Create catalog ready files. Includes photo editing, manipulation, cropping, coloring and reconstruction.Illustrator: create production ready art files using vector art. Includes creating templates, proofing, pattern creation and color separations.- Experience with Power Point, Canva and Google Sheets- Creativity and the ability to understand existing product line and branding capabilities.Qualifications necessary beyond technical abilities include:Ability to thrive in fast paced environment and handle multiple projects at onceAbility to think creatively outside the box, as well as within brand guidelinesAbility to follow client direction and concepts and bring them to lifeExcellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesAbility to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentStrong communication, time-management, and organizational skillsAbility to take direction and work both independently and as part of a teamMust be self starter and willing to seek out answers and information on their ownMust have eye for current retail and fashion trendsIf you are a creative individual with a passion for graphic design and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
