We are looking for a talented Web Developer specialised in Accessibility to join our team of Design Technologists and Software Developers. As a Web Developer, you will ensure our ad campaigns and products meet the highest standards of Accessibility, performance and reliability. You will actively collaborate with QA Engineers to resolve defects across our existing ad campaigns as well as support with the development of new accessible experiences. By joining our team you will directly impact the experience of thousands of customers by making our products and services accessible to all.
Key Job Responsibilities:Remediate and develop Accessible web experiencesDrive innovation and streamline overall development processes for AccessibilityImprove our suite of reusable components and design systemsUse open-source and internal software to improve the team's efficiency and quality of workTools and technologies we use:
HTML/JS/CSSReactJSAnimation librariesDeployment pipelinesManual and automated Accessibility testing toolsAWS CDKFigmaBasic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience (non-internship) in professional front-end, web or mobile software development companiesExtensive knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)Experience with Accessibility testing tools such as BrowserStack, Axe and LighthouseExperience with assistive technologies such as VoiceOverExperience with agile development and best coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing and continuous deploymentExperience building scalable, distributed, front-end experiencesExperience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScriptExperience with JavaScript libraries such as React
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43.93 to $48.81 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
