The VP, of Brand Strategy will play a leading role in brand assignments and new business opportunities. They will be the driver of strategic and communications development, collaborating effectively across stakeholders. They will be a key client-facing representative for the agency and the Brand Strategy function. This role will have a strong partnership with agency leadership across functions.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as a resident "expert" for planning and developing strategy and communications.Manage, develop, and inspire a team responsible for category-leading content, product, and brand marketing experiences.Develop and implement a holistic brand strategy that aligns with the company strategy, business priorities, and corporate positioning.Lead the development and refinement of a cohesive brand identity that embodies the company’s mission, vision, and value proposition.Cultivate industry and other relationships that create opportunities for the company.Leverage relevant KPIs and consumer insights to ensure the health of the brand as well as its continued evolution.Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.Create and maintain brand guidelines that include standards for logo usage, color palettes, typography, imagery, and other visual elements.Lead and mentor a high-performing brand marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.Ensure marketing team members have a transparent understanding of corporate goals, objectives, and executive priorities.Collaborate closely with internal and external creative teams to ensure the development of stand-out materials; with Content and Products to amplify development communities.Own brand strategy: clarify positioning as well as understanding target audience across business affiliates and how best to reach them; collaborate on brand guidelines to ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual representation across relevant touchpoints.RELATED JOB COMPETENCIES

They will have a track record of driving and inspiring sound strategy.Exceptional organizational and time management skills, adept at managing multiple high-priority projects on deadlines and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.Clear and compelling communicator, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Must be able to travel 25% of the year.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a similar field; MBA/Master’s is a plus.15+ years of relevant experience in Marketing; 8+ years in a relevant leadership role.Successful background in building brands, developing advertising campaigns and executing across multiple marketing channels, while maintaining and enhancing corporate ROI, KPIs, Google Analytics, etc.
