The technology division of one of the largest entertainment brands is seeking a Visual Designer to join their team for 1+ year contract opportunity. This role operates on a hybrid schedule in Burbank, CA and the ideal candidate will have strong branding, style guide, and presentation experience.Hourly Rate Range: $60-70kResponsibilities:
Drive design language, brand, and visual design needs across the entertainment brand.Part of the Experience Design team within the Strategic Operations department of the Studio Technology organization.Develop design language aligning with Studio Technology and our Studio brands.Understand the impact of design on the audience and its role in communication.Concept development for business segments within the entertainment brand, translating complex ideas into effective design artifacts and graphics.Develop brand identity elements, design standards, and style guides to ensure project alignment with stakeholder expectations and our brand.Design and deliver graphics, assets (style guides, presentation templates, branding materials), and documentation for key project requests.Build client presentations that delight and inspire clients, aligning with brand guidelinesPresent and articulate design direction, ideas, and concepts to internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with fellow designers (Visual, UI, UX, Product) to evolve design language and branding efforts.Generate design work plans; estimate work items accurately and communicate dependencies and issues as necessary.Participate in the development of the larger design team through dialogue, key initiatives, and collaborative projects (e.g., tool and process research, template and pattern creations).Inspire new ways of thinking and explore unique approaches to design problems.Required Qualifications:
Degree preferred or equivalent experience.Intermediate or expert level candidates with experience in PowerPoint or Keynote presentations (portfolio should include examples of layout design, communication templates, and logos).Mid-level or junior-level candidates with experience working with large brands.Not suitable for recent graduates or entry-level candidates; must have experience and a proven work history.Visual design with a strong portfolio showcasing brand work.Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) and Figma.Minimum of 2 years of experience with big global or national brands.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
