Position Overview:

The Marketing Manager will coordinate and develop marketing policies, programs, and campaigns. This position will promote the company’s products and services to existing and prospective customers through strategic use of graphics, logos, and other promotional products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.

Collaborates with sales or marketing representatives to fully understand product and communication needs.

Conducts market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products.

Gathers the materials necessary to understand the project and competition in the area such as literature or previous marketing campaigns; analyzes these materials to determine the most effective communications technique.

Conducts pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.

Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.

Based on assessment, drafts, and proposes communications campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia.

Creates and coordinates multimedia packages.

Analyzes and evaluates financial aspects of product development.

Collaborates in the development of new products.

Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.

Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows.

Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required.

One to three years of related experience in business, promotional sales, customer service, or related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Thorough understanding of market developments, marketing strategies, and practices.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
