Lead the business' efforts in content creation, audience development, and external relations. Will be responsible for designing and overseeing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, ensuring consistent product positioning through messaging and communication, and guiding the optimization of marketing initiatives to support the organization's goals. Will be responsible for creating marketing communications strategy and execute plans to establish and enhance businesses' brand presence, allocating resources to different projects, and setting both short-term and long-term goals for the department.The

Director, Strategic Marketing

will oversee strategic planning, development, and coordination of all marketing communications programs to promote the sale of products and further sales objectives. Consults with other areas of management or business units, sales departments, and advertising agencies to leverage web marketing, trade show activity and direct marketing. Manages the preparation of sales aids, controls advertising and recommends the media best suited to sell specific products. Interacts with vendors to produce promotional material.Responsibilities:Oversees all aspects of marketing, external and internal communication within the business.Crafting Strategies: develops integrated marketing communication plans based on the product marketing/go-to-market strategic plans received from the business line, allocates resources, and sets short-term and long-term goals, including digital, advertising, communications, and creative initiatives.Product Messaging: ensure consistent product messaging across different marketing channels is crucial. Drive product branding relevance, consistency, and engagement across all touchpoints.Budget Management: Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the marketing communications department.Analyzing Consumer Behavior: Partner with functional groups to research and analyze consumer behavior, identify market opportunities, and design strategies.Coordination: Coordinate sales and marketing efforts and participating in company planning.Facilitate crisis management messaging for the business with the corporate marketing team.Direct audience/consumer research, competitive analysis to identify opportunities in the market that can be exploited and worked on.Strategize and collaborate with the sales and product management teams to develop compact go-to-market strategies for existing products and services while coming up with new marketing ideas based on the research.Collaborate with the product marketing managers and test value proposition of the products and services.Nurture leads and engage customers by directing the development and execution of a sound digital marketing strategy based on market and consumer research.Develop the required changes in the digital marketing strategy based on timely data given by analytical tools.Direct social media efforts on various social networks, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.Expand partnership with social media influencers to increase the company's reach and strength.Track the performance of marketing strategies implemented and come up with timely modifications to nurture more leads online.Plan and spearhead marketing events and other campaigns to strengthen public relations and our company's presence where it matters the most.Collaborate with content teams and distributing partners to ensure an integrated marketing strategy that works smoothly on all its levels.Develop an annual marketing budget and keeping track of the resource needs for proper long-term and short-term scheduling.Keep track of the performing and non-performing aspects of the marketing strategy at all levels of the business.Required knowledge and skills:

The successful candidate must be a versatile marketing and communications professional with a strong strategic mindset and be able to straddle between strategic and tactical requirements of the role. As a senior leader, the position will also be expected to contribute to the overall business strategy and play an active role in the company's expansion and new program initiatives. Experienced in working within set frameworks for a master brand strategy and strategic messaging.Bachelors Degree or equivalent. MBA a plus.Must have 12-15 years of relevant experience with 7 of team management experience.Proven stakeholder management capabilities with strong experience of working in cross-functional environments.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Agile and resourceful team player, and a tech-savvy marketer who is proficient in marketing technologies and data analysis.Preferred knowledge and skills:Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google AdWords.Experience with CRM software.#LI-OS1Fighting cancer calls for big ideas.We envision a world without fear of cancer.
