Your role and responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will utilize your skills and capabilities to design, develop and implement the product marketing, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for our low voltage molded case circuit breakers product lines. You will be accountable for the ownership of the respective product portfolio for all marketing and business development activities in the U.S. You will also lead the communication and messaging of our product value propositions in alignment with ABB's global product marketing strategy, and as well help coordinate other functional areas of the business as necessary to achieve the expected KPIs for the product lines in scope. The work model for the role is: hybrid (Li-Hybrid) This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in Cary, NC or Memphis, TN. You will be mainly accountable for: -Create, plan and ensure the effective implementation of the United States go to market product marketing strategy including definition and communication of product value propositions and product positioning -Oversee sales execution for assigned products by coordinating the preparation of relevant materials and guidance to sales teams -Collaborate with division Global Product Managers on local standards and installation norms to ensure local product market acceptance and drive new products and feature development based on local market needs and trends -Product portfolio management such as pricing strategy, inventory strategy, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, local market offering, product gap analysis and business cases, sales and promotion tools, internal and external trainings and strong technical presence

Qualifications for the role

Engineering Bachelor's degree is required; Electrical Engineering preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales, Product Management or Product Marketing Management in a related Electrical products/application industry.This position requires 25-30% travel.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us
