What Will You Do?

The Senior Manager Pricing Analytics is a key role for the pricing organization and will be responsible for leading initiatives focused on margin management, driving analytics-based pricing decision-making and promotion optimization. This position is responsible for growing the business through strategic management of pricing. The position will be key to shaping an understanding of pricing performance today and influencing the development of a strategic pricing framework to guide decisions. The position will partner closely with merchandising, marketing, planning, sales and finance to ensure pricing decisions continue to be aligned with the pricing and promotion framework.

Leverage reporting and analytics capabilities to drive pricing and promotion performance and ensure that P/L and strategic objectives are achievedDevelop sound and sustainable approaches to supporting strategic pricing decisions (i.e. scenario planning) across Enterprise channels and Licensee marketsDevelop a strategy to deliver profitable growth through pricing and pricing-related decisionsConnect pricing decisions to P/L performance, category strategies, etc. to ensure decisions align with the broader strategic priorities of the companyPartner with Merchandising to align pricing approach with assortment strategy, product life cycle stage and go-to-market strategiesIdentify opportunities for new approaches to pricing and lead testing, evaluation and scaling of new approaches online and in storeCreate foundational capabilities that will enable automated decision-making and optimization of price across categories, channels, regions, etc.Partner with retail leadership to align on a channel management strategy for pricing to avoid conflicts that create confusion and frustration for customers, store associates and other partnersDevelop advanced competitive analytics to support better decision making with more awareness of price position in the marketLead effort to automate decisions (and execution) through development of sound logic and advanced models that continue to improve based on performance/ results (machine learning)Introduce advanced analytics for decisions on promotional offer depth, when to makes offers, channel restrictions and item/ category selection (in partnership with marketing)Develop advanced approaches to understanding competitive position and taking pricing action based on that position in support of regional pricing strategyPartner with digital product teams to develop new pricing and pricing-related capabilities onlineRecruit and develop talent to advance the analytics capabilities of the pricing teamCommunicate company and departmental issues and goals and facilitate employee growth and development through weekly team meetings, regular individual employee meetings, coaching, training, and company-offered learning opportunities.Support the development of more junior managers and analysts through project leadership, coaching and other guidanceDemonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions.What Do You Need?

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience, RequiredMasters of Business Administration, Analytics, Data Science or related field, Preferred3 years of relevant experience in a pricing, promotions strategy and analytics or advanced analytics role, RequiredSupervisory Management experienceExceptional business acumenStrong knowledge of financial analysis and forecastingStrong knowledge of SQL or other database softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAnalytical and problem solving skillsMaintain confidentialityWorking knowledge of Continuous ImprovementHandle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraintsProficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, internetStrong skills in agility, along with the ability to pivot easily when directions and priorities changes on short noticePerform under strong demands in a fast-paced environmentWork professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respectDisplay empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customersRespond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiriesWho Are We?
