SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a rockstar, highly motivated, experienced, and polished Marketing Manager to provide strategic leadership and drive growth among our key audiences. This role will involve identifying new and emerging opportunities, developing strategic plans to address the opportunity or need, and then ensuring high-quality delivery and execution of core marketing campaigns and other activities designed to grow the business. The ideal candidate will have experience engraining themselves in the business, proactively developing strategies to drive our desired outcomes, as well as developing marketing campaign strategies, tracking campaign performance, and optimizing future marketing initiatives.
What you'll be doing:Develop and lead strategic marketing plans.Demonstrate and generate awareness of SageSure's strategic positioning and advancement of our products.Consult and collaborate with key internal and external partners to develop marketing plans to meet business needs/objectives.Develop market understanding to recognize trends and opportunities that could be used to help differentiate SageSure and provide a competitive advantage.Work with internal and external creative resources by writing effective briefs and leading productive cross functional meetings to ensure execution delivers on the objectives, on time, on budget and on brand.Ensure assigned marketing programs, promotions and activities are tracked and measured to determine their ROI and success.Identify and encourage strategic enhancements and efficiencies that can be gained by leveraging technology, enabling deeper personalization, greater engagement, and an improved agent experience.Apply an analytical mindset in optimization efforts of all initiatives and campaigns.Partner with marketing and business leaders to plan, develop and execute annual marketing plans.Proactively provide visibility to insights through the effective use of marketing tools.Maintain knowledge of the latest innovation in marketing with an eye for improving SageSure's capabilitiesDevelop and lead marketing initiatives, as well as coach others on how to think strategically.Be the go-to leader for strategic marketing insights and understanding for stakeholders across the organization.We're looking for someone who has:
A self-starting, motivated, strategic minded individual, comfortable working with analytics and a proven track record of utilizing data to track and measure results.Professional business presence and acumen with comfort presenting to, supporting, and working with leaders and executives across the organization.Keen ability to tell a story with data via proficient visualizations and actional insights.The ability to see the big picture while also working to execute at the ground level.Innovative mindset with a strong ability to navigate ambiguity.Experience leading efforts utilizing traditional, new, paid, and owned media.Ability to find creative ways to impact our business by driving strategic outcomes among producers.Experience working with and supporting a sales team, clients, and partners.Detail-oriented with outstanding written and oral communication and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, OutlookMinimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field7+ years of experience working within Marketing.Experience in a financial category.Strong B2B and D2C marketing experienceHighly preferred candidates also have:
10+ years' experience in the insurance (especially property/casualty) or financial categoryMarketing Certifications - PCM, DMI, Etc.Experience with Wrike or other Project Management ToolsExperience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales CloudExperience with DOMO or other BI tools.Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are advantageous.
