The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist works with a cross-functional team and leads marketing programs at Viken Detection. This role's key functions include strategic marketing execution, vendor partnerships, campaign/program/project management and effective communication.

What will you do?

Provide marketing support to key internal customers, understanding business objectives and key messaging.Develop and maintain project plans and schedules.Collaborate with an internal and external partner to deliver the required assets to support these plans.Support development of advertising (print & digital), emails, trade show materials, video, photography, training, etc.Communicate status of projects on a weekly basis, creating 100% visibility of project status, expectations, next steps, and final delivery.Provide guidance to the business on marketing best practices.Ensure that all assets meet Viken's brand guidelines and quality standards.Requirements

Expertise in marketing communications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong diligence and organizational skillsExpertise implementing marketing strategies.Experience with digital marketing, including email campaigns and social media advertising.Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.Education

Bachelor's degree required in marketing communications; or 2 years advanced degree with equivalent work experience.Experience

5+ years of marketing experience in a similar/related role within a fast paced, dynamic organization.Knowledge of desktop software (Adobe CC InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and the Microsoft Office Suite)Experience leading marketing program execution from initial strategic collaboration through deployment of tactics.Experience with project management.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to understand business strategies and prioritize activities appropriately.Must be able to lead several campaigns, under tight deadlines, working autonomously.Great teammate with excellent people skills and written/verbal communication.Strong organizational skills with keen diligence.
