Would you like to join the Diablo 4 Engine Team and help make an incredible UI framework for our developers?As a specialist engineer in User Interface (UI) technologies, you will play a key role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our games. You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other engineers to implement intuitive, responsive, and performant UI Engine features. Your expertise in UI development will be instrumental in driving cutting-edge interfaces across various gaming platforms.The Engine team helps bring Diablo to life by owning foundational technology such as UI/UX, Accessibility, Console Platforms, Animation, VFX, and Physics.This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA, or Albany, NY.Responsibilities:

Design and implement new engine features and capabilities with a focus on UI/UXCollaborate with cross-functional teams to translate conceptual UI/UX designs into interactive and visually appealing interfacesProvide expertise and mentorship to both your leads and junior engineers on your teamWork side by side with QA, feature developers, design, and production to identify and mitigate risk areasStay updated on emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX design and gaming industry best practices, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our development workflows and codebaseRequirements:

At least 5 Years of prior UI framework engineering experienceFamiliarity with industry-known UI technologies and paradigms such as Layout Systems, WPF and XAML, DataBinding, Input Routing, Font Handling, and RenderingAbility to communicate effectively with developers of all disciplines and technical skill levelsProficiency with C++Bonus:

These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
