Siemens is a technology company supporting the industry, infrastructure, and transportation forming the backbone of America's economy. The Executive Writer works within the U.S. Corporate Communications team to help craft a wide range of executive communications for the U.S. executive leadership team, primarily supporting the U.S. CEO.

Communications will include speeches, remarks, and talking points for external and internal events, video and podcast scripts, internal messages, LinkedIn content and social media posts, blog posts, articles, op-eds, company award applications, and correspondence.

You will report to the Head of Strategic Messaging and Executive Communications while also collaborating with the Chief Speechwriter and colleagues in Corporate Communications and throughout the company.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop executive speeches, talking points, panel remarks, video scripts, and presentations.Write op-eds, thought leadership content, and LinkedIn posts.Support Siemens business objectives by executing written communications and messaging for the U.S. executive leadership team and other key leaders.Provide research, copy editing, and fact-checking for various projects.Develop expertise in the Siemens USA business, related industries, and the company's core topics.

Basic Requirements5-8+ years of relevant experience in writing and editing executive communications content.Expertise in writing, speechwriting, and editing.Bachelor's Degree required.Ability to execute and multi-task a variety of written assignments managing long- and short-term deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to learn executive voices and develop tailored communications aligned with company priorities.Ability to produce crisp, error-free writing.Ability to research and incorporate compelling stats and proof points into assignments as directed.Ability to connect Siemens's viewpoint to national and industry conversations.Knowledge of AP style.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
