Job Title: Cryptographic Research Engineer Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cryptographic Research Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied cryptography and experience developing and implementing cryptographic protocols. They will also have a deep understanding of zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) and experience with ZK frameworks. Responsibilities will include both research and implementation of research while working as a member of a small developer team.

Develop and implement cryptographic protocolsConduct research and make decisions about cryptographic toolsEnhance ZK Framework implementationsStay current with new technologies and trends related to zkEVMs, ZK proof protocols, and secure multiparty computationQualifications:
3-5 years of programming experience in PythonPrevious production level experience with a C-family language is preferred, solid reading level in at least one C-family programming language (e.g.,Rust,Go,C++) will be consideredMaster's degree in cryptography or number theory (bachelor's degree in math acceptable with relevant internship or research experience)Academic training (PhD in cryptography) or multiple years of experience in cryptographic R&DUnderstanding of public key encryption,elliptic curves,and hashing algorithmsUnderstanding of pairing-based cryptography,SNARKS/STARKS,ZKP aggregation,and incrementally verifiable computationNice to Have:Familiarity with blockchain applications and methodsPrior published work in cryptographyHigh-level familiarity with major attacks or bugs on recent proof systemsLocated within the Washington DC, Miami, Denver areaCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on cutting-edge cryptographic technologiesChance to make a real impact on the future of decentralized applicationsFully remoteTo Apply:
