Overview:
The SVP, Director, Client Operations is an integral role within a client team, directly responsible for monitoring and building internal operational processes throughout the account across a variety of practices and functions. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented as well as a big-picture thinker, a strong leader, and expert collaborator. Major focuses in this role include but aren't limited to: leading and mentoring a team, managing and building client relationships, staffing operations management, and financial/budget management.
The ideal candidate for this role will be especially strong in financial operations and will partner seamlessly with our Finance team.
Role Objectives:
Lead and oversee client operations teams across accounts
Partner with Finance to establish operational soundness from an account finance perspective
Act as a practice lead and steward for the Client Operations practice
Be a point of contact for clients
Work alongside the planning, investment, operations, finance, and reconciliation teams to execute the end-to-end financial management process inclusive of budget authorization, client billing, supplier invoice reconciliation and payment, and compliance with internal/external audit requirements
Take lead in project management initiatives
Partner with Finance and Procurement teams to deliver financial reporting and tracking (e.g. monthly analysis of planned vs. actual spend, delivery reporting, etc.)
Manage the tools, systems, and process that enable sound financial operations including planning/investment team support and training
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and groups, facilitating synergy between the planning and activation functions that manage day-to-day client business
Work with HR and Talent Acquisition to ensure sound staffing processes and operations across the account
Lead and mentor team
Minimum Requirements:
12+ years of related experience with progressive leadership responsibility
Understanding of media advertising planning and buying processes
Strong client management/consultative experience both presenting and resolving issues
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrable quantitative skills and the ability to dig into the numbers when necessary
Powerful leadership qualities, required to lead external and internal resources into new marketing-effectiveness territories
Strong attention to detail, able to quality-check teams’ work to ensure data anomalies and mistakes are caught prior to delivery to the client teams
Strong management capabilities, operational as well as strategic
Proven history of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on problem-solving abilities and a “can do” approach (someone who is both a thinker and a doer)

Compensation Range: $167,000- $273,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
