We have high aspirations that are achieved when we work together with a shared purpose.The Operations Communications Specialist:The Operations Communications Specialist will be responsible for the execution of internal communications strategy developed by the Operations Integration team. You will work cross-functionally to ensure operations messaging is clear and consistent across all our internal communication channels and be a key member of our operations services team.What You’ll Do:Craft messages and materials for internal audiences, working closely with other Support Center Teams: FSQA, Tech, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Experience, Development, and People + Culture.Support the Ops Integration Team to deliver rollouts and communications to Operations - both planned and unplanned.Work cross-functionally to deliver key messages from other Support Center Teams and measure success by tracking key performance indicators.Partner with L+D to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for seasonal recipe rollouts and other initiatives.Continuously develop restaurant resources (posters, recipe cards, job aids) in partnership with L+D.Create and maintain a feedback loop for operational communications.Work as a partner with communications on any executive level writing or communications.Drive CAVA mission, values, and competencies through the in-restaurant experience.Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset.Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, delivering on our responsibilities accordingly.Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values.Show discipline in bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every day.Actively contribute to your department in order to complete tasks and meet company goals.Recognize the emotional stake each Team Member has in the personal and organizational success of this business.The Qualifications:2+ years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related role.Demonstrated success in developing clear, compelling, and on-brand messaging and materials.Proven ability to create and manage effective communications initiatives.Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communications skills, demonstrating clarity of thought, ability to influence, and skill in adopting appropriate tone.Track record of collaboration and positive, productive relationships with multiple internal partners.Passionate, dedicated, and eager to learn, leading with kindness, honesty, and integrity.Exceptionally organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Experience with various desktop publishing and design software (Adobe InDesign, Publisher, WordPress, Canva, PowerPoint, Illustrator, etc.).Innovative in finding new and creative ways to effectively communicate.Data-focused, measuring results by developing the ROI for each project.Highly organized and skilled in time management.A passion for food, people, and storytelling.Preferred Experience: Proficiency in Spanish is a plus; bachelor’s degree in communications, English, PR, journalism, marketing, or a related field.Experience with Monday or other project management software.Ability to travel up to 20%.Physical Requirements:Ability to maintain a stationary position to operate a computer and other office equipment.Must be able to identify, analyze, and assess details.For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds.Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively.Constantly positions self and moves about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable.Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.What we offer:Competitive salary, plus bonus and long-term incentives.Early Wage Access!Unlimited PTO, paid parental leave, plus paid opportunities to give back to the community.Health, Dental, Vision, Telemedicine, Pet Insurance plus more!401k enrollment with CAVA contribution.Company-paid STD, LTD, Life and AD&D coverage for salaried positions.Free CAVA food.Casual work environment.The opportunity to be on the ground floor of a rapidly growing brand.Please note that visa sponsorship is not available.*Indicates qualifying eligible positions only.CAVA – Joining “A culture, not a concept”As an equal opportunity employer, CAVA considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, age, height, weight, marital status, sexual orientation, familial status, genetic information or any other characteristic or protected classes as defined by federal, state, or local law.
