We are seeking a creative, talented, kingdom-minded Content Designer & Coordinator to enhance Bethel College’s digital and creative presence, elevate brand awareness, and contribute to our global impact and enrollment.Bethel College encompasses a diverse range of schools, including Bethel School of Technology (BST), Bethel Conservatory of the Arts (BCA), Bethel School of Music (BSoM), Bethel School of Business, and Bethel School of Liberal Arts.The Bethel College Content Designer & Coordinator will support the VP of Marketing, in-house and external marketing teams in executing various marketing efforts. They may also have the opportunity to work on a range of digital assets, including social media content, email campaigns, lead generation tools, web content, and more.

The Content Designer & Coordinator should have a keen visual aesthetic, with a background in photography and/or graphic design. They should also be a passionate storyteller with a command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and serve a digital audience and online community.Salary range:

$16 to $20 per hourWork hours:

20 hours per weekRequirementsResponsibilitiesBuild and manage Bethel College social media profiles and presence, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and additional emerging channels.Coordinate and schedule online/social media content posting.Respond to messages received on social platforms in a friendly, timely and supportive way.Create and collaborate on captions, photography, titles, social media graphics, thumbnails, animated GIFs, etc.Post and manage Bethel College long-form video/audio podcast content.Contribute to the ideation and execution of social media assets, email campaigns, lead generators, and web content.Collaborate with both in-house and external teams in growing and reaching new audiences.Assist Marketing Project Manager with large projects, events and community management.Other duties and projects as assigned by the Manager to support department and organizational needs.QualificationsStrong visual storytelling abilities with a focus on digital and multimedia content.Solid graphics and photography editing skills.Creativity and innovation in content creation, with a curiosity for the latest trends in digital marketing.Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.Good command of English and copywriting skillsTeamwork / CollaborationSelf-MotivatedA commitment to Bethel College’s mission and values, with a kingdom-minded perspective.RequirementsCertificate or Bachelors in Media ProductionProficiency in using social media software (e.g. Coschedule Social Inbox) to schedule and monitor social media conversations.2+ years experience with Adobe Creative Suite, graphic design, photography, videography, and blogging.Proficient in economical online messaging, strong English, with no grammatical errors that encourages engagement.Organized and skilled with basic software (ie Google Docs, Folders, Calendars)Excellent time managementGood communication and decision-making abilitiesTeam playerBenefitsFree Staff Lunch (twice a month)bethel.com email Address20% Discount on most items in the Bethel BookstoreFree premium pass access to Bethel.tvInvitation to attend Select ConferencesHealthiestYou (24 hour doctor/prescription access)403(b) Retirement Fund MatchingPaid Sick Leave, Jury Duty & Bereavement LeaveOpportunity to work with some of the most passionate lovers of Jesus in the world!Voluntary Dental PlanVoluntary Vision Plan
