POSITION SUMMARY
Are you skilled in writing compelling grant proposals and passionate about supporting entrepreneurship? Blueprint University is seeking experienced Grant Writers to help us secure funding that will drive our mission of transforming 30 startups into successful enterprises by 2030. As a Grant Writer, you will play a vital role in securing the resources needed to support our programs and initiatives.

OBJECTIVES
Research and identify grant opportunities that align with Blueprint’s mission and goals.
Write and submit high-quality grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
Collaborate with our team to gather necessary information and documentation for grant submissions.
Track and report on the status of grant applications and follow up with funders as needed.
Develop and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations and stakeholders.
Help Blueprint University secure funding to support educational programs, resources, and initiatives that empower entrepreneurs.
Promote Blueprint University’s mission and programs to potential funders through effective marketing strategies.
Leverage marketing channels to highlight the impact of our programs and attract grant opportunities.
COMPETENCIES
Grant Proposal Writing: Write and submit high-quality grant proposals.
Research: Identify new grant opportunities.
Documentation: Ensure compliance with submission guidelines and gather necessary information.
Tracking and Reporting: Provide regular updates on application status and outcomes.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with grant-making organizations.
Follow-Up: Follow up on submitted grant applications.
Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback into future grant proposals.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Excellent research skills.
Attention to detail and adherence to guidelines and deadlines.
Collaborative skills to gather information and support applications.
Knowledge of the grant application process and successful writing experience.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Marketing skills to promote Blueprint’s mission and successes.
Creativity in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing, preferably in the nonprofit or educational sectors.
Proven track record of successfully securing grant funding.
Familiarity with foundations, corporate giving programs, and government grant opportunities.
Experience in marketing or promotional activities related to grant-funded programs is highly desirable.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working in a computer.
