Responsibilities:

Support the strategy and planning for internal communications in support of company goals and business priorities (ex: interfacing with IP teams from around the world) and update internal communications platforms and channels to keep information flowing to employees.Work with business unit and functional leaders and teams to understand their program objectives and key activities and advise on internal communications that support the overall communications strategy.Maintain and contribute to the editorial calendar with relevant, engaging content, using internal communications channels.Work with the Internal Communications team to coordinate and implement integrated change initiatives, employee engagement, and communications projects including crisis preparedness, key company announcements, and company events.Support roll out of communication plans, in conjunction with ITT Corporate communications team, for unique events including acquisitions, commercial awards, and ESG messaging and reportsBe a “doer” and “owner” who can manage stakeholders in different countries, different parts of the business and with different perspectives.Monitor trends, analyze and benchmark performance metrics, and generate recommendations to evaluate and accelerate communication effectiveness.Distill complex concepts into clear messages for both technical and non-technical readers.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field5+ years of relevant communications experienceProficient in the production and use of multimedia (graphics, videos, still photos)Proficiency in utilizing social media tools such as LinkedInExpert, world-class writing and editing skills. A detailed, thoughtful and clear narrative writer that delivers “defect-free” contentAbility to interact effectively with all levels of the organizationA highly organized self-starter capable of working independently across multiple workstreams, and as part of a teamContent strategy and content development experienceAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCan easily adapt and is open to change in response to new information, feedback, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situationsTeam player with a collaborative, can-do, and yet humble mindset that is results-drivenAble to make decisions with speed and accuracy based on the best available informationAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.

Desired:

Experience with a variety of digital platforms and communication mediums such as podcasts, video production, multi-media storytelling and website managementFamiliarity with the flow industry or manufacturing environments
