Job Description

Primary Purpose

Provide leadership and coordination of company sales and marketing functions. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against performance goals.

Essential Function and Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions

Develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology

Direct and oversee the company’s marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services

Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development

Develop and execute new product launch strategies

Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results

Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal departmental operating budgets

Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communication efforts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts

Supervise the planning and development of the company’s marketing and communication materials

Represent the company at various business meetings and/or trade shows to promote the company

Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs

Promote positive relations with vendors and distributors

Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans for the company

Establish and implement short and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

Assemble, direct and measure departmental performance of the sales and marketing teams.

Manage and support remote team members to assure they have necessary support and resources to succeed.

May perform additional duties as required and/or assigned

Qualifications:Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

10+ years of experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing leadership position within the construction equipment industry

Extensive experience executing business plans with large national account and regional customers

Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management

Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts

Knowledge of sales quota goals and revenue expectations

Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

Master’s degree in business or related field

Preferred:

Experience in strategic planning and execution

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

This role will require up to a maximum of 75% domestic/international travel.

Travel dependent on sales team and customer location.

Regular trips to Corporate Headquarters to collaborate with leadership team as well as direct reports based in the office.

Must be based near a major metropolitan airport, preferably in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Certifications & Documentation

A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record within Company standards, as well as possessing the ability to be insured is required.

The ability to obtain a valid United States of America Passport is required.
