Baker Publishing Group is currently accepting applications for the position of Marketing Assistant, Bethany House and Revell Fiction. The marketing assistant will work closely with marketing campaign managers, providing administrative support in all aspects of the marketing process.

Position Objective:

To provide support to the fiction marketing department.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintaining database and project management tools with correct and up-to-date data

Placing and tracking warehouse shipping orders and organize internal mailings

Organize advertising plans and communicate with external vendors and internal stakeholders on behalf of marketing staff and ensure all due dates are met

Process vendor contracts and invoices

Creating and editing Adobe files

Building and maintaining spreadsheets for team and personal data and tracking

Sending internal communication on behalf of marketing staff

Scheduling meetings and requesting and organizing necessary materials

Additional support tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and Word

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite

Ability to quickly and proficiently adopt new technology and systems (ex. ERP systems, mailing software)

Working knowledge of database and project management tools preferred (ex. Asana)

Professional interpersonal communication skills

Written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, follow schedules

Proactive self-starter able to meet their own deadlines and ensure the team's deadlines are met

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a full-time position, benefits include health, dental, group life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, paid time off, 401(k), and others.
