Geographic Information Systems Technician

DescriptionWe are seeking a Geographic Information Systems Technician to support electric distribution projects and data maintenance. This role involves using GIS/CAD software, updating GIS data, obtaining and manipulating GIS data at state and municipality level, and working in an Agile team environment. The ideal candidate will have completed 30 hours in a GIS program at an accredited University or have a Bachelor's degree in a related field with enrollment in a GIS certification program. Additionally, the candidate must have knowledge of GIS software and CAD software, and proficiency in MS Office.
