Subvrsive is an immersive innovation studio on a mission to leave the internet better than we found it. And we've done just that for partners big and small, trusted by teams at Google, Amazon, Netflix, Ford, TikTok, Snapchat, and more. While the past few months have seen an uptick of metaverse talk, we've been walking the walk for 7 years running. Metaverse is what we do, and all we've done since 2015.

Subvrsive is seeking a UX Designer to join our rapidly growing team. You will work closely with the creative team as well as cross-disciplinary project members to create and execute concepts for digital experiences. This includes immersive AR/VR experiences, spatial web projects, and traditional digital projects like websites, microsites, etc. You'll be expected to actively contribute to the development of original solutions and create polished, final deliverables while collaborating with the UX team.

General Responsibilities:

Understand technical, business, and time limitations, and design within these constraints.Collaborate with a cross-functional team to create immersive, cutting-edge experiences for various XR platforms (AR, VR, XR Web).Balance multiple projects and work streams.Present deliverables to clients and internal stakeholders, and articulate rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs.Guide the end-to-end design process, from defining deliverables that meet project goals and constraints to project file handoff.Engage with and support design & strategy workshops with internal and external teams.Assist with informing internal processes, and contributing to shared knowledge hubs.Technical Abilities:

Support the discovery, research, and data synthesis to identify critical user insights and develop hypotheses to design effective experiences.Create research and design artifacts to best inform strategic experience decisions.Create comprehensive sitemaps, wireframe systems, and process flows for large-scale solutions.Ideate, sketch, and prototype for desktop, tablet, mobile, and headset devices.Support the holistic experience design by providing feedback and collaboration on the visual design implementation.Advocate for and promote experience design best practices.Experience we're looking for:

2+ years of experience working on complex digital experiences in a digital studio/agency environment.Experienced in both agile and waterfall methodologies.Familiar with scoping and estimating UX tasks.XR and/or agency studio experience preferred.Qualities we're looking for:
