Position Overview:

This newly created part-time role (21 hours/week) is responsible for marketing support for Benaroya Hall and its resident users. Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Communications and close collaborating with the Director of Venue Administration, this role coordinates with the Venue Admin team to identify needs, devise campaigns, and oversee their execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as the marketing contact for Benaroya Hall for both internal and external parties.

• Collaborate with renters to integrate marketing campaigns into BH/SSO timelines to achieve ticket sales goals.

• Gather and distribute concert ticketing information to the Web Team, Ticket Office, and admin staff.

• Assist the bookings team with B2B and industry promotions of Benaroya Hall and its venues.

• Set deadlines for deliverables and ensure stakeholder approval of final assets.

• Offer weekly updates on rental concert projects and campaigns, highlighting any at-risk projects.

• Oversee the creation and collection of content for the monthly e-newsletter.

• Work with the Social Media Coordinator to formulate media plans for Benaroya Hall's social platforms.

• Monitor and manage the marketing, advertising, and promotion budget in conjunction with key stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• BA (or equivalent experience) in Marketing

• 1-2+ years' experience in marketing

• Passion for and general knowledge of music and entertainment venues

• Creative, collaborative self-starter with the ability to handle a high volume of concurrent deadlines

• Availability to work some nights and weekends as needed when concerts are in season

• Experience with project management software, including Asana and QuickBase, a plus

• This position requires repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and fingers for typing at a standard keyboard and regular pinching, picking up and holding pencils and other desk tools

• Must have the ability to lift 30 pounds as needed

Salary Description

$23.82-$30.22/hour, with a midpoint of $25.08/hour
