Job Description

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Liaison between Product Design and Business Development.Responsible for creation of all league submittal documents, approvals and any necessary revisions.Converts apparel styles into multiple teams and creates production-ready tech packs.Works closely with the Design Team to study layouts, recipes of proposed concept, and acquire all related materials to make each design successful.Proofreads tech packs for errors and troubleshoots art/embellishment issues and resolve immediately.Works closely with Design/Production Art Teams to ensure all art and tech packs adhere to League standards.Makes any necessary art revisions requested by the Leagues.Collaborates with the Design and Product Development Teams to ensure art complies with Mitchell & Ness guidelines, standards, and meets creative intent.Creates Sales boards and collateral images as needed.Works closely with the Product Development Team on logo and color submits/approvals.Responds quickly to multiple projects and deadlines with strong time management skills.Any additional duties as deemed necessary by management.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic or Fashion Design related fieldKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1-3 years graphic design, apparel design and/or apparel product development experienceStrong sense of color and an understanding of product developmentLicensed apparel experience is valuableExcellent communication skillsExtremely detail oriented and very thoroughMust have a keen eye for design consistenciesStrong composition and typographic skillsAbility to work as part of a larger, fast-paced teamRequires minimal direction and can work independentlySelf motivated and multi-task orientedMust possess demonstrated proficiency of MAC and all applicable programs including Adobe Creative Suite programs

The salary range for this position is $55,000- $61,500, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
