This position will be partially based in the following office location:Manchester, NH

For hybrid roles, employees must be able to commute to Manchester, NH on a regular basis.

The opportunity

In this role, you will develop communication strategies to elevate the university's profile. You will identify newsworthy stories, create engaging content for various platforms, and cultivate strong relationships with all partners to ensure consistent messaging and brand awareness.

You will report to the Director of Advancement Communications. This position will be remote, with the requirement to travel to SNHU events and activities several times per year. This position is open to candidates in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, within a commutable distance to campus. #LI-Hybrid

What you'll do:

Develop and support communications plans for Institutional Advancement, including Alumni Engagement, Philanthropy/Fundraising, Stewardship and Donor Relations, Community Impact, and The Chandler Center.Help with the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, including creating communications plans and content.Develop compelling multimedia and written content (photography, videography, graphics, and copywriting) for internal and external communication channels, including newsletters, emails, social media, and the alumni website to maximize engagement and donations.Build collaborative relationships across the University, representing Advancement Communications in key One University projects. Work with cross-functional groups to source stories and share information.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts, using analytics to inform and improve strategies.Staff major events such as Homecoming Weekend, Commencement, Global Days of Service and regional events to assist with story collection and event support.Ensure that all communications meet established brand and content standards and further the overall communications and PR goals of the university.What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field1 to 3 years of professional experience preferred, including fundraising communicationsAdvanced written and verbal communication skills; excellent interviewing and reporting skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and style; demonstrated expertise using multiple digital platformsExperience using digital photographic and video skills; knowledge of video production, shooting, and editing softwareExperience using project management skillsHigh standard of professional ethics and ability to respect the confidential nature of donor information and university matters.We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated. Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $50,105.00 - $80,184.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $55,366.00 - $74,908.00.
