Job Title: UX Designer

Location: Austin, TX 78758 (Onsite)

Duration: 17 Months

Pay range: $75/Hr to $80/Hr on W2

Job Description:

Responsibilities of the User Experience (UX) Designer:Lead and manage UX design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring a user-centric approach throughoutAct as a resourceful problem solver, overcoming design challenges and finding innovative solutions within project constraintsProactively identify UX improvement opportunities and take the lead in creating a roadmap for executing themCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to drive UX design excellenceManage tracking and reporting of search-related activities and provide analyses to marketing executivesOptimize Web site exposure by analyzing search engine patterns to direct online placement of keywords or other contentDefine product requirements, based on market research analysis, in collaboration with user interface design and engineering staffCollaborate with web, multimedia, or art design staffs to create multimedia Web sites or other internet content that conforms to brand and company visual formatCommunicate and collaborate with merchants, Webmasters, bloggers, or online editors to strategically place hyperlinksCoordinate with developers to optimize Web site architecture, server configuration, or page construction for search engine consumption and optimal visibilityImprove search-related activities through ongoing analysis, experimentation, or optimization tests, using A/B or multivariate methodsOptimize digital assets, such as text, graphics, or multimedia assets, for search engine optimization (SEO) or for display and usability on internet-connected devicesOptimize shopping cart experience or Web site conversion rates against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Evaluate new emerging media or technologies and make recommendations for their application within Internet marketing or search marketing campaignsConduct online marketing initiatives, such as paid ad placement, affiliate programs, sponsorship programs, email promotions, or viral marketing campaigns on social media Web sitesCreate content strategies for digital media. Implement online customer service processes to ensure positive and consistent user experiencesResolve product availability problems in collaboration with customer service staffKeep abreast of government regulations and emerging Web technology to ensure regulatory compliance by reviewing current literature, talking with colleagues, participating in educational programs, attending meetings or workshops, or participating in professional organizations or conferencesQualifications of the User Experience (UX) Designer:

Bachelors degree in UX design, HCI or a related fieldA minimum of 7 years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio showcasing sucessful projectsProven track record of leading and delivering successful UX projectsPossess a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practicesProficiency in UX design tools such as FigmaStrong problem-solving skills and a resourceful mindsetProven ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to UX designExcellent communication and collaboration skills, especially communicating the value of UX to a team of product and engineering counterpartsExperience in the vacation rental, hotel industry, B2B or finance is a plus but not required
