JOB SUMMARY

The coordinator will be responsible for updating the websites for Campus Stores and Mail Room. This position will ensure that orders from our website are processed and shipped in a timely manner, will maintain and file receiving and inventory documentation for all merchandise. Manages social media accounts for all areas in Campus Stores, Mail to increase sales, drive traffic to department services, inform internal and external customers of services, sales, promotions, etc. Work closely with faculty to assure all submitted course material adoptions are correctly entered and by the deadline. Create a training document for faculty on the adoption process. Serve as the administrator for all campus store social platforms. Stay updated with all system upgrades.

The coordinator will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Director of Campus Stores/Mail Services to market and promote a wide variety of products, services, and offerings. The coordinator is responsible for website updates, manages social media accounts for all areas, creates marketing campaigns, posters, digital signage and other forms of marketing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains the Campus Store, Mail Room websites. Ensures that the websites are up to date and questions answered or directed at the appropriate person. This will include putting new merchandise on the website and removing old products. Websites and social media are designed to increase sales, drive traffic to department services, inform internal and external customers of services, sales, promotions, etc. The coordinator is responsible for website updates, manages social media accounts for all areas, creates marketing campaigns, posters, digital signage, and other forms of marketing. Assure all submitted course material adoptions are correctly entered and by the deadline. Create a training document for faculty on the adoption process. Serve as the administrator for all campus store social platforms. Stay updated with all system upgrades.

Fielding questions regarding customer service issues about the Campus Store, Mail Room. Processing orders and shipping them out with all relevant paperwork filed. If the order cannot be fulfilled, the order will be routed to the appropriate buyer for resolution. Following up on backorders to ensure that orders are resolved in a timely manner. Analyze customer feedback and behavior to enhance the shopping experience and improve customer satisfaction.

Promote events, new merchandise, services, and other products on all departmental social media accounts. Ensure areas of responsibility are up to date and on the latest trends. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Organize and execute marketing events to include planning, set up, actual event, and follow-up. These events should be engaging and entertaining.

Other duties assigned by the Director of Campus Stores/Mail Services which will include assisting in the campus store(s) during high traffic/peak times to be assigned by the Director.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications

High School education or the equivalent

Four years of administrative support experience, preferably working with marketing to include website maintenance, social media, and graphic design.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with processing web-based orders and basic accounting principles

Experience with online merchandising
