Dickies Arena is a 14,000 seat, spectacular multipurpose venue located adjacent to the Will Rogers Memorial Center campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The arena is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit operating entity, Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC). The state-of-the-art arena, opened in November 2019, hosts concerts, sporting events and family entertainment, and is the new home to Fort Worth Stock Show rodeo performances.

Job Description

The digital marketing specialist will be responsible for developing the digital strategy and presence for Dickies Arena and Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is energetic, creative and analytical and has experience in digital, social and traditional marketing.

Essential Functions

1. Develop strategies for Dickies Arena's digital marketing program to achieve reach and engagement goals across social platforms and websites, including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Truth, YouTube, Rumble, Telegram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and others.

2. Create and maintain social media calendar including all hosted events plus special promotions, event offers, community events/, sponsorship activations, recruitment, etc.

3. Plan advertising and promotional campaigns include digital, print, radio and outdoor to drive ticket sales and create awareness

4. Generate engaging social media content with the goal of getting artists to repost and grow followers.

5. Monitor site traffic and analytics across all digital platforms

6. Develop and implement paid digital advertising campaigns across a variety of channels to promote events at Dickies Arena as well as Will Rogers Auditorium

7. Provide reports of the effectiveness of all paid digital advertising campaigns

8. Assist with creating strategies to increase the fan experience at Dickies Arena

9. Develop new ways to generate excitement and increase ticket sales through digital channels

10. Proactively research trends, best practices and emerging technologies to stay on the forefront of new digital media and establish Dickies Arena as a leader in social media

11. Develop digital and social media marketing plans and strategies for upcoming events

12. Collaborate with social media teams of promoters and local media to create awareness and excitement for events.

13. Manage content on the Dickies Arena website as well as Sharepoint

14. Create the HR flyer and HR newsletter with Brand Marketing Manager oversight

15. Handles sensitive/confidential information appropriately

16. Ability to worknights, weekends and select holidays, in addition to traditional business hours

17. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

1. An in-depth understanding of the digital and social media landscape

2. Strong computer skills, including Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, Photoshop, CRM and basic HTML and website management

3. Experience analyzing social and digital data

4. Experience in creating still graphics and videos for online use

5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office

6. Strong verbal and written skills in the English language required

7. Strong organizational, interpersonal and project management skills required

8. Creativity and a desire to constantly explore new ideas for content and campaigns

9. Proven record of creating promotions and platforms that result in revenue opportunities

10. Problem-solving and multitasking skills

11. Team player with a positive attitude

12. Meets or exceeds timelines in a fast-paced environment

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ability to work some nights and weekends a must.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising or other related field

2. Minimum 2-4 years of full-time marketing, sports industry and/or digital agency
