Role Summary

Content designers make it easier for users to understand complex concepts and confidently take their next step. In a highly regulated field like finance, content designers also work to provide as much clarity and context as possible for users when direct answers aren’t always possible.

Whether working on a single piece of content or working on the end-to-end journey creating a product or experience, our content designers are responsible for concepting, creating, testing and refining content at all stages of the user journey.

Under the direction of the content lead while embedded within a team of experience designers, this role will develop creative designs which best engage and empower clients, in alignment with our firm’s overall strategic objectives.

Assignments may include co-creating products and experiences such as dashboards and key transactional flows alongside experience designers, crafting supporting educational materials and UI copy, or partnering with marketing partners to create market-ready collateral.

Content and design teams are consistently in dialogue with our legal and compliance partners to create experiences that fit our legal limitations and are accessible to all.

Responsibilities

Work in cross-disciplinary groups to create user and journey maps, as well as content-centric documentation to integrate content operations and efficiencies into our experiences.

Apply advanced knowledge to develop creative solutions and identify effective content strategies for designs. Review creative designs for quality and brand alignment.

Facilitate creative ceremonies and brainstorming sessions; develop and recommend an appropriate conceptual design. Present ideas and seeks to persuade clients and colleagues to adopt recommended design concepts.

Foster collaborative relationships with internal partners such as design or compliance to realize and implement creative design concepts.

Apply style guidelines and promotes internal standards to less experienced staff to drive consistency, brand alignment, and design integrity.

Qualifications:Required:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

5+ years of total relevant work experience.

Optional:

Experience working in a heavily regulated environment, such as finance or healthcare.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for full time remote work.

Regional Requirements:

Base salary range:

$ 83,000 -$141,000 USD for the locations of: Colorado and the State of Washington

$ 103,500 -$177,000 USD for the locations of: California and New York

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
