The PositionWe are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team at HeinOnline. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in our Marketing and Sales Departments by crafting compelling promotional content, collaborating with colleagues to plan and execute all logistics for trade show events, and provide excellent service to our customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Email Marketing: Develop and execute high-quality email marketing campaigns via MailChimp, crafting engaging content that effectively communicates the value and features of our products to boost brand awareness and engage our target audience.

• Content Creation: Write captivating product descriptions and blog posts that convey product information clearly and effectively.

• Website Management: Create and update compelling web pages on our WordPress sites, while incorporating responsiveness and SEO best practices.

• Trade Show Coordination: Collaborate with marketing colleagues to execute various aspects of trade show conferences, including registrations, designing advertisements and graphics, managing leads, arranging travel, and ensuring a smooth and successful event.

• Design and Creative: Design impactful advertisements, brochures, slide decks, graphics, and other promotional materials using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and PowerPoint, applying modern design principles.

• Company Branded Giveaways: Work with vendors to order and manage company-branded merchandise, ensuring all promotional materials reflect our brand identity and values.

• Video Marketing: Curate and produce engaging marketing videos to educate customers about new products and features, enhancing user engagement and understanding.

• Product Launches: Support all marketing efforts related to launching new HeinOnline products and services, ensuring maximum exposure and interest.

• Social Media Management: Manage and grow our company’s social media presence for an assigned platform by driving engagement and enhancing our brand's visibility.

• Customer Support: Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and chat, providing assistance and solutions to our valued HeinOnline users.

• Additional Duties: Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the company.

QualificationsDesired Skills, Abilities, & Interests:

• Strong design, writing, and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency in MailChimp or related email marketing software, WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and PowerPoint. Experience with Elementor is preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.

• Creative thinker with the ability to problem solve.

Education & Experience

• A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, content creation, and digital communications.

• Undergraduate degree with a preferred specialization in marketing.

Salary$55,000 to $68,000; depending on experience
