POSITION SUMMARY:

The Designer III – Men’s Sport is responsible for the design and development of Calvin Klein Men’s Sport Collections, across both active and sport lifestyle styles. This unique role reports directly to the Design Director of Men’s Sport & Lounge and will collaborate significantly across multiple level’s of sport categories. The Designer III, Men’s Sport Designer will work with cross functional partners to build the range plan, calendar, and landmarks that sync with the mainline collection for effective timely delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Implements and supports the direction of Calvin Klein Men’s Sport from concept through to final products.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and merchandisers to ensure flawless execution of design concepts.

• Stay up to date with the latest market trends and customer preferences.

Conducts research with full-look concepts in mind.

• Develops and reviews proposals of fabric and embellishments.

• Develops and reviews sketches, prototypes, and looks.

• Establishes garment fit and is responsible for fittings. Provides fit comments and

design comments to atelier and factories.

•. Attends fittings, fit sample collection, and reviews prototypes.

• Leads all aspects of aesthetic development of graphic, trim, and textile design.

• Assures that design works collaboratively with merchandising to build a cohesive and directional collection.

• Leads development of department staff – selection, training, and

development.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

• 7+ years design experience, with management experience.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Skills:

Proven experience as in a lead design role within Sport or a relevant category in the fashion industry.

Strong portfolio showcasing your creative and technical design skills in Performance apparel.

Proficiency in design software and tools like Adobe Creative Suite.

In-depth knowledge of sport innovation, sport fabrications, construction techniques, and patternmaking.

Detail-oriented with a strong eye for aesthetics and quality.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts effectively.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet project deadlines.

This role must be highly creative and plays pivotal role in the development of the line.

ENVIRONMENT:

Deadline driven, creative environment. Fast paced, deadline driven creative environment with a focus on teamwork across all Calvin Klein teams.

Pay Range:$115,000 - $135,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
