Summary:
The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding of end-user needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers' business problem/goals.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications
Skills:
Understanding and experience ing Human Centered design principles and best practices
Previous experience designing web app design systems - both visual and UX systems - required
Previous experiences designing applications incorporating generative AI preferred
Previous experience working with front-end devs to create working code-based prototypes preferred
Knowledge and application of accessibility UX best practices and principles preferred
Ability to present design concepts and explain their uses and function
Writing, and communication skills
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
Attention to detail, high level of visual design polish
Collaboration and independence
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
10+ years experience required
