DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Coordinator/Marketing Specialist will report to the Executive Vice President of Operations and will join our office in the Las Vegas area. This position will be responsible for the management and preparation of proposals in response to RFQ/RFPs. Other related duties will include the management of resource materials, industry research, and CRM entry. These responsibilities encompass graphic design, copywriting, editing, MARCOM, content generation, and organizational skills.

Other assignments will include content generation and graphic design for advertisements, signage, and other marketing materials. This individual will also be responsible for the coordination and implementation of social media, internal communications, and the maintenance of the website for Tutor Perini Building Corp. These duties will include preparing and disseminating information regarding the company internal and external media and helping to maintain a favorable public image for the organization.

Coordinate/Manage proposal and presentation development including administration, formatting, layout, non-technical writing, and proofreading

Read and analyze RFQ/RFPs and develop outlines and/or responsibility matrices

Coordinate with various team members (both internal and external) to prepare content

Edit proposal content for readability, consistency, clarity and compliance with requirements

Research, write, and update collateral materials including project descriptions, resumes, experience lists, AIA 305, etc.

Provide CRM administration including data entry, reporting and knowledge management

Create and monitor social media content on various platforms

Create and maintain communications on corporate-wide, internal social media/intranet

Maintain corporate website and all business unit websites including new content and ensuring that all project information is current

Monitor and report on all media coverage and communication campaigns and maintain library of press clippings for the corporation and all business units

Draft and edit copy for corporate periodicals and non-technical items such as employee bios, resumes and project sheets

Maintain marketing information and photo databases

Perform research to support Business Development

Manage project award submittals

Draft and edit copy for corporate periodicals and collateral materials

Assist with the upkeep of corporate standards for communication, style, branding, and layout design

Work with corporate and business unit leaders to support marketing and communication initiatives

Provide support at local events such as trade shows, ground breakings, and charitable functions

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or similar

3 or more years of marketing experience.

Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)

Experience with CRM database input and upkeep (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)

Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to utilize layout and graphic design skills in a business setting

Ability to multi-task, be proactive, establish priorities and work independently or in teams

Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment that may sometimes include nights and weekends

Occasional travel to jobsites, events, and company meetings (less than 5%)

Previous experience in the AEC industry preparing RFQ/RFP/Proposals is preferred

Experience with Illustrator a plus

Understanding of the construction industry and terminology a plus

Must be willing to work 5 days a week onsite in our Henderson, NV office
