By marrying advanced technology with their distributed network of talented writers and editors, this platform delivers engaging, original, and witty content (yes, it’s a really cool, budding, successful company, and we want you to get your foot in the door ASAP!).Here’s the deal: right now, this company is in the midst of building out brand-new custom tools for clients and creatives alike. The tools will help clients request and review content and will allow creatives to access and contribute to various projects. To make these tools the best they can be, they’re looking for a talented Lead Product Designer to join their team and help determine the overall vision for all their products, as well as be extremely hands-on with the design of individual features. As part of this growing team, you’ll be expected to mentor other designers and help shape the product team’s internal processes, development strategies, and culture. You will lead tactical and strategic design projects across the entire product lifecycle, make meaningful updates to existing functionality, propose new features, and help define the long-term vision of all products. Plus, you’ll be tasked with creating dynamic prototypes that excite and drive cross-team alignment. In short, you’ll help build an amazing product that will hands-down be the star of your portfolio.Why You?How you’ll know if you’re a fit…You have a minimum of 6 years experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer. You possess strong UX ability, visual design skills, and product thinking (all of which are well represented in your portfolio). Experience taking real-world products from concept to launch is a must. You have a firm grasp on UX methods and processes and competence in relevant design and prototyping tools, especially Figma. It goes without saying that you have strong visual design skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills (this is a content platform, after all). You’re eager to collaborate, but also totally comfortable working alone. You must have a keen understanding of UX best practices, and you’re excited to lead the product vision and design strategy for the world’s leading creative writing platform. P.S.
