You will own the creation and management of content for Oateys 20,000+ products that will be featured in our marketing materials, on our websites, and on the websites of our wholesale and retail partners (Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, Ferguson, etc.). Working closely with the Director, Brand Strategy, the Copywriter, and our Creative Services and Multi-Media team, you will be responsible for identifying and bringing to life photos, carousel graphics, videos and project guides that elevate Oateys online presence by helping end-users choose and use Oatey products.Expectations & AccountabilitiesAccountable for all product content initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, sales and customer retentionStrategically identify key product features, benefits and unique differentiators, then subsequently develop language and provide direction to the creative team to generate visuals that succinctly and creatively communicate the advantages of choosing Oatey productsLead content audits to identify areas of opportunity to improve marketing copy, product images, videos and other digital marketing assets, then execute these improvementsCollaborate with technical experts to prioritize product benefits and establish an effective message hierarchyOversee the creation of guides and video scripts that detail how to select products for and the steps to take to complete plumbing projectsSupport new product launches with the development of A+ digital assets highlighting key selling featuresMaintain editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and toneReview competitive and best-in-class product listings to identify industry trends and bring forward new opportunities to increase conversionOversee product marketing video and photo shoots and the management of digital files within Oateys product information management (PIM) systemLead, coach and develop the Content Specialist to ensure goals and objectives are met, supporting individual performance and growthManage the product content teams workload and processes while partnering cross-functionally to ensure efficient project completionWhat Youll Need To Be Successful5+ years of relevant work experienceOutstanding project management skills and attention to detailStrong communication and writing skills in EnglishAn eye for brand and editorial excellenceCreative mindset and ability to think outside the boxInquisitive nature with a knack for asking insightful questionsAbility to view challenges from multiple perspectives to gain comprehensive understandingSkill in extracting key information from limited or complex dataProven work experience as a content marketing managerProficiency in content management software and MS OfficeExperience with search engine optimizationExperience working with graphic designers, photographers and/or videographersBA/BS in marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent work experienceAt Oatey we are committed to help our Associates grow their career.
