Job Title:
Digital Marketing Coordinator
Location:
Cambridge, MA
Work Schedule:
35 hours/week
Duration:
3 months (No potential for extension)

Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will work under the direction of a Harvard manager to assist with and coordinate digital marketing and advertising campaigns. The role involves collaborating with Harvard managers to identify marketing goals, audiences, and messaging, as well as researching and recommending available markets and channels. The coordinator will assist in developing digital marketing plans and related deliverables, produce digital marketing copy and content, and coordinate the production of non-digital aspects of marketing campaigns. Additionally, the role includes reviewing deliverables from ad agencies, third-party designers, and other creatives to ensure they meet companys requirements, expectations, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate marketing calendar and content production across the team
Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Oversee project management for marketing emails (built and sent by the University's CRM team)
Apply and adjust design for projects using existing InDesign templates
Use Photoshop to resize, crop, and make other basic edits to images
Pull and segment data from alumni and donor databases (Advance/Qlikview)
Use data to create and test variables for personalized and effective outreach
Track key metrics such as open/click rates and conversions, and report on results
Write, proofread, and copyedit content for marketing emails and other projects
Liaise with and represent Harvard’s interests with publishers, advertising agencies, suppliers, and creative resources to ensure successful project execution
Conduct periodic audits of invoices, budgets, and media plans to optimize media investment
Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills:
Strong project management and multi-tasking abilities
High attention to detail
Experience with InDesign and Photoshop
Solid writing, copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills for digital platforms
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web analytics
Familiarity with paid and owned social media, podcast sponsorships, digital display, email advertising, paid search, SEO, and web analytics
